Shura chairman congratulates FNC speaker

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, has sent a cable of congratulations to the Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC), Dr. Amal bint Abdulla Al-Qubaisi, on her country's National Day. He wished Dr. Al-Qubaisi and the UAE people further progress and prosperity, under its leadership. Al-Saleh lauded the advanced level of the Bahraini-UAE parliamentary relations, reiterating the Shura Council's keenness on carrying on its work with the FNC to further boost bilateral parliamentary ties for the best interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. The Shura Council Chairman sent a similar congratulatory cable to the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdul Ridha Abdulla Al-Khoury.
