Bahraini Women's Book Fair to kick off on December 5

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): Isa Cultural Centre is set to organise the Bahraini Women’s Book Fair on December 5 under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). The event, which will continue till December 12, is part of Bahrain’s celebrations of the Bahraini Women’s Day. Marking the occasion, Board of Trustees Chairman and Executive Director of Isa Cultural Centre Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa voiced appreciation of HRH Princess Sabeeka’s patronage of the pioneering initiative aimed at further consolidating the academic status of Bahraini women. He lauded the empowerment efforts of SCW to promote women’s standing and motivate them to bring about more achievements.
