Nasser bin Hamad attends UAE National Day celebrations

Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has witnessed the UAE 45th National Day celebrations in Abu Dhabi. The celebrations, which was also attended by several Heads of States, dignitaries, senior officials and guests, included traditional, cultural and military performances showcasing United Arab Emirates growth and prosperity in different sectors. On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser congratulated UAE President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the rulers of the other emirates, on the occasion of the UAE National Day, expressing his congratulations and best wishes to the Emirati leaderships to be blessed with health, happiness and for further progress and prosperity for the brotherly UAE citizens. His Highness praised the brotherly and historic relations that link the two countries and the development of both nations. HH Shaikh Nasser pointed out: "The UAE National Day is an occasion where we remember the glorifying march of the UAE and the Gulf nations founders who placed aspirations of Gulf citizens to create one political entity brought together by a single history and identity with a common destiny." His Highness added that everyone looks on with wonder and admiration on the cultural growth progress of the UAE, praising their internal and external policies and their leaderships achieving prosperity, development, and contributing to the strengthening of the region's economy, security and stability. HH Shaikh Nasser added that the UAE continues with its steady development and growth in various fields to become a role model and pioneer in development, noting on the importance of National work in UAE and leadership's responsibility to carry the flags of their ancestors who brought stability, peace, security and well-being to the UAE as they are role models of pride and glory. Stressing on the cultural shift in the UAE, HH Shaikh Nasser said that it's due to the safe planning of the wise leadership, it succeeded in achieving a high ranking in development indicators which made the country advanced in all areas.
