HRH Premier lauds solid ties with Qatar

Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the Qatari Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani who extended to him an invitation to attend the Qatari Embassy's celebrations of Qatar's National Day. HRH Premier expressed thanks and appreciation to the ambassador for his kind invitation, wishing the State of Qatar and its brotherly people further progress and prosperity. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the depth of the solid fraternal Bahraini-Qatari relations, and the steady progress of bilateral cooperation in various fields. The Prime Minister affirmed the kingdom's interest in everything aimed at upgrading bilateral cooperation and coordination, stressing that the consolidation of cooperation among the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) aims to speed up the pace of joint GCC action in the political, economic and social fields. The Qatari ambassador extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his continuous efforts to broaden the aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries which, he said, share brotherly bonds and common features that are the basis for their keenness to advance their cooperation at all levels.
