Kanaan: No for changing governmental caretaking to state paralysis

NNA - In the wake of a meeting for the parliamentary finance and budget committee at the House of Parliament under the chairmanship of MP Ibrahim Kanaan, the latter voiced rejection to changing the caretaking activity of government to a condition of paralysis of the Lebanese state, in a way that officials will abandon the duty of implementing laws and facilitating the dire livelihood matters for citizens. He explained the presence of contradicting understanding of the caretaking concept within the unified monitoring administrations and institutions "which is something unacceptable." It is worth noting that the meeting concluded an approval on the law draft related to opening an exceptional credit worth LBP 75 billion for implementing public work projects across different Lebanese regions.
