We are most fortunate to live in a Kingdom where sharing our values, cultures and faith is as natural as breathing. We expatriates have always been made to feel that we are valued and cherished members of the Bahrain Family and we are very grateful for all the Rights and Freedoms and Government services provided to us and “THIS IS BAHRAIN” in BAHRAIN, enables us to come together with our Bahraini brothers and sisters to show our love, loyalty and support to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Leadership and the wonderful people of Bahrain.” We have much to be thankful for this National Day, as in 2016, under the courageous leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, we have seen Bahrain make huge advances and achievements in many areas in the political, economic, educational, sporting and philanthropic fields, gaining worldwide recognition and acclaim and culminating in the launch of a world first, “ The King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Chair in Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence” at Sapienza University in Rome which will allow young people from all over the world to study His Majesty’s visionary leadership philosophy and contribute to peaceful co existence amongst all peoples all around the world. ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN” in BAHRAIN is the perfect opportunity for our communities to come together and thank His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to show our love and respect for the Leadership and for each other, in the true Bahraini way, by sharing and celebrating as One Family, so we look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday 15thDecember 2016 from 4pm onwards.” Miss Mathieson revealed that the event will feature exhibition stands from Embassies, Schools, Clubs, Associations, Societies, Religious Organisations and will include lots of live entertainment throughout the day provided by school children of all nationalities who will perform dances and songs that represent their culture.
