BIC adds three artists to National Day Festival

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced that three artists have been added to the line-up of live performers at the BIC National Day Festival, set to be among the biggest celebrations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The festival takes place Wednesday to Saturday at "The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East" in Sakhir.
Popular singers Khamis Zuwayed, Mohammed Jomairi and Basel Ahmed are the newest artists confirmed to be putting on a show. They will be entertaining the crowds with their traditional style of music on "Bahraini Night", slated for Friday.
Zuwayed, Jomairi and Ahmed have joined Khaled Fouad and Dalia, who were earlier announced to be performing at the event. Fouad’s concert is scheduled for opening night on Wednesday, while the following evening Dalia will be taking centre stage.
The four-day festival is being held with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
Doors will be open on each day from 4pm until 10pm. Tickets cost only 500 fils and they can be purchased at the gate.
Zuwayed, Jomairi and Ahmed are three of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s most popular artists. They each have a number of best-selling albums to their credit and they are all household names in Arabic music.
They each have followings that extend throughout the Gulf region and beyond.
Aside from the concerts, also set to be a major part of the festivities are the fireworks display and a traditionally styled shopping experience.
The festival will feature corporate exhibition space, children’s activities and a play area, cultural shows, food and beverage outlets.
Organised for the fourth successive year, the festival is a perfect platform to showcase what the business community has to offer in a social atmosphere, organisers said.
