Bahrain "Chocolate & coffee" exhibition attracts 15.000 visitors

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Organizers of the Bahrain "Chocolate & coffee" exhibition and festival announced that the total number of visitors to the exhibition over three days reached 15,014 visitors.
The exhibition has seen in its last day inauguration a larger panel of waterfront of the Kingdom of Bahrain drawn from small pieces of chocolate in the presence of the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism His Excellency Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani.
This exhibition is the first of its kind in this sector, and was held at the Bahrain Center for Exhibitions and Conferences under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hamoud CEO of the Tourism. 51 exhibitors from six countries, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and others was participated in it.
Yasmin Jamal, executive director of the company Events Staarts , the organizer of the exhibition, confirmed The success of the Bahrain "Chocolate & coffee" exhibition to attract such a large number of visitors underlines the importance of shedding more light on the importance of this industry in Bahrain and the region, especially since there are about 2,200 commercial register specializes in chocolate and coffee in Bahrain, the sector includes a number of world-renowned, especially specialized in making coffee cafes brands not to mention the shops specialized chocolates, while the volume of employment in the sector is no less than 4 thousand workers, including a large percentage of Bahrainis.
Besides the chocolate and coffee manufacturers, the list includes some of the top hospitality groups, in addition to representatives of the global chocolate companies in the region (franchisees), who aim to boost their brands' presence in the Gulf and the Arab market, and also strengthen communication with their customers.
"We are working to attract the local manufacturers along with shops that offer many luxury foreign brands mainly produced in many countries" she added.
