Vice president off to Brussels

Tehran, Dec 12, IRNA - Vice-President and head of Department of Environment Ma'soumeh Ebtekar departed for Belgium on Monday to sign an MoU on environmental cooperation between Tehran and Brussels. According to Department of Environment, Ebtekar is scheduled to visit two EU commissioners to develop bilateral environmental cooperation. Vice President is also scheduled to ink an MoU with EU environment commissioner and to seal an MoU with EU energy and climate change commissioner. Other programs of the trip consist of visiting Belgian senior officials, including Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel, Foreign Minister Didier Reynders, members of parliament and environmental activists. 1378/IRNA
