Royal reforms, national achievements hailed

Manama, Dec. 12 (BNA): Morocco's Ambassador to Bahrain, Ahmed Rasheed Khutabi, has congratulated Bahrain on its celebrations marking HM the King's Accession to the Throne and Bahrain's National Day. The Moroccan Ambassador told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the occasion reflects keenness of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on underpinning the constitutional institutions and uplifting the citizens' standard of living, chiefly in areas of education, health care and housing, which have earned HM the King global recognition and respect. He extended sincere congratulations to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people on the UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO)'s award conferred on HM the King. He paid tribute to the national achievements and gains made and democratic and development march launched under the royal reforms. He said Bahrain has become an unmissable model thanks to its economic policy based on openness highlighted by social and human rights reforms and promoting Bahraini women's status thanks to the royal directives and initiatives of the Supreme Council for Women chaired by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa. He added that the royal reforms have boosted Bahrain's standing as a country of coexistence among races, religions and cultures, praising its active role and contribution to defending the justice Arab causes and respect for states' sovereignty and non-interference in its internal affairs in conformity with international law. He expressed appreciation of Bahrain's supportive stances towards the unity of the Kingdom of Morocco in various international forums.
