Jumblatt, FPM delegation tackle electoral law

NNA - "Democratic Gathering" head MP Walid Jumblatt met on Wednesday at his residence in Clemenceau with a delegation from "Change and Reform" bloc, with talks majorly touching on the election law. The delegation includes Alan Aoun, Neematallah Abi Nasr, Ghassan Moukhaiber and Ziad Aswad. The meeting took place in the presence of MP Jumbaltt's two sons Teymour and Aslan, Agriculture Minister Akram Shehayeb, and MPs Ghazi Aridi, Henry Helo and Marwan Hamadeh. Speaking on emerging, MP Aoun deemed discussions as frank about concerns over this issue, saying such discussion needs to be completed. He also relayed that there was no absolute rejection of the principle of proportionality, which takes into account the existing concerns and does not annul the representation of any sectarian component. =================== L.Y
