Geagea at educational function: We have no veto on anyone

NNA - Lebanese Forces (LF) leader, Samir Geagea, on Thursday voiced no objection about any Cabinet format, affirming that the LF has no veto on anyone. The LF leader's fresh words came on Thursday at the conclusion ceremony of the educational conference entitled: "For the Unity of the Educational Family" in Meerab, attended by National Education and Higher Education Minister, Elias Bou Saab. "The government should be well-cohesive entity capable of serving citizens," underlining the dire need for an efficient, productive government. Geagea also stressed that he harbors no objection whether the Cabinet line-up is formed of 30 or 24 ministers, noting that the government is not a "representative Council" but rather an executive one. In his delivered word, Minister Bou Saab voiced support to the adoption of an indispensible ranks and salary scale which would achieve justice and take into account the capacity of the Treasury. Bou Saab also brought to attention the dire need for heeding teachers' salaries special attention in order to polarize them to the public schools, saying "it is essential that we all unite to rescue the educational sector in Lebanon." ==================
