King thanked for patronising Commemoration Day

Manama, Dec.17 (BNA): Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan has expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his Royal patronage of the Commemoration Day celebration. He said that the day is an occasion to celebrate those who sacrificed their lives for the nation. This was highlighted while taking to Bahrain TV in a show to mark the Commemoration Day on December 17. He remembered with pride the martyrs of duty who gave up their live to protect the Arab identity, religion and security of Bahrain. He said that through the sacrifices Bahrain succeeded in protecting its achievements and be stronger than sectarianism, foreign interference and attempts to disturb security. The Chief also expressed thanks to His Excellency Interior Minister for the care provided to children and families of martyrs of duties, as well as the injured by providing them the best healthcare. He prayed to God to protect the security, stability and development of Bahrain under the leadership of HM the King. (PMC)
