Hezbollah MP says Cabinet formation requires flexibility, no major obstacles face formation

NNA - A political meeting held in the southern town of Toura was an occasion for Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah to confirm that flexibility and minor compromises were needed to finalize Cabinet formation.
The MP voiced optimism that no major obstacles faced the formation process. He insisted that the Cabinet formation and formulation of a new electoral law should be separated from one another.
"Lebanon is in need of a new electoral law that aids in charting out the future of authority in the country. Thus, we need to reprioritize matters in a way that preserves the best interest of the Lebanese and safeguards stability and civil peace."
Fadlallah endorsed a proportional electoral law that fairly represented all strata of Lebanese society.
Commenting on the recent developments in Syria, the MP confirmed that what has been achieved reflected positively on Lebanon as it fortified it from the takfirist project.
"Lebanon is a target [for takfirists]; but, the integration between the role of the Resistance in fending off takfirists at the border with Syria, and the role of security forces and the army in the outskirts, particularly of Arsal, forms a protective umbrella to civil peace and security."
He declared that the takfirist project has been hit badly and consecutively.
