Cairns to host Pacific leaders in August
The north Queensland city of Cairns is to host the Pacific Islands Forum in August.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd announced the venue at the end of the latest leaders'
forum in Port Moresby.
The Cairns event is expected to be attended by leaders from 16 South Pacific
nations, and there will be post-forum dialogue with China, Japan, the European
Union, the Commonwealth and the United States.
