Shura Council condemns “Jaw” terrorist attack

Manama, Jan. 1 (BNA): The Shura Council strongly condemned the terrorist armed attack on the reformation and rehabilitation centre “Jaw”. The heinous assault caused the death of policeman Abdulsalam Saif as he was facing the terrorists and enabled a number of terror convicts to escape. The council denounced in the strongest terms the heinous criminal assault which reflected the extent of the terrorist dangers facing the Kingdom of Bahrain. In the statement, the council expressed unwavering support to all measures undertaken by the security agencies to track down the perpetrators and recapture the fugitives to face trial. The Shura Council paid tribute to the security forces for their resolve and bravery, extending condolences to the Minister of Interior and to the bereaved family.
