Bahrain to host major pediatrics conference

Manama: Jan. 9 (BNA): The Bahrain-based Arabian Gulf University will host the first International Pearl Pediatric Conference on next February 2017 under the patronage of Bahrain Supreme Council for Health (SCH)'s Chairman Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. Consultant physicians from Germany, Thailand, Canada, Ireland, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Sudan and from other Arab countries will participate in the conference. In addition local participants from Doctors and experts representing hospitals and medical and nursing colleges in Kingdom of Bahrain shall join. The head of the conference Dr. AbdulAziz Al-Amin, professor of pediatrics at AGU and consultant pediatrician in the University Medical Centre of the King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Medical City. The medical college in AGU is hosting the first pediatric conference titled (Pearl Pediatric Conference) to be held on February 23-24 to support the medical learning and development of medical care for children in the kingdom of Bahrain. The conference is held in coordination and co-operation with Ministry of Health, Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC), King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) and the BDF hospital. A comprehensive medical exhibition will be organized at the end of the conference and will be opened for the participation of the international, regional and local companies to showcase their latest products in the field of health and medicine.
