Bumi Armada Forms New Subsidiary In The United States

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 11 (Bernama) -- Bumi Armada Offshore Holdings Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bumi Armada Bhd, has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary in the United States known as Bumi Armada Americas Corporation. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Bumi Armada said the new company was formed on Jan 9, 2017 as a corporation under the Texas Business Organisation Code and would be involved in the offshore oil and gas marine services. "The formation of the Bumi Armada Americas is part of the group's business strategy to develop closer relationship with some its key clients based in Houston," it added. Bumi Armada Bhd is a Malaysia-based international offshore energy facilities and services provider with a presence in over 17 countries spread across five continents. -- BERNAMA
