Foreign minister meets Kyrgyz counterpart

Abu Dhabi, Jan. 17 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met his Kyrgyz counterpart, Erlan Abdyldaev , on the sidelines of the fifteenth ministerial meeting of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue "sustainable energy", which was held today in the United Arab Emirates. Shaikh Khalid expressed his appreciation for the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, presenting ways to develop these relations on all levels, while supporting the common interests of the two peoples and countries. The Minister affirmed the importance of exchanging visits between officials in order to expand areas of cooperation, including political, economic, and environmental fields, and enhancing mutual coordination on various regional and international issues. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the kingdom further progress and prosperity.
