Bahraini-Japanese military cooperation discussed

Manama, Jan. 17 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received today Japanese Minister of State for Defence Affairs Kenji Wakamiya and his accompanying delegation. Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant General Yousef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma and BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi were also present. The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the Japanese Minister of State for Defence Affairs and his accompanying delegation and reviewed with them ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation mainly in the military field. They also discussed issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa'ad, Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yusef Ahmed Malallah and Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Kiyoshi Asako.
