Shura Chairman receives Kuwaiti ambassador to Italy

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, has affirmed the depth of the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations. The advanced level reached by bilateral relations is the outcome of the shared keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Kuwaiti Amir, HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to bolster them, which, he said, has had a great impact on strengthening cooperation and coordination in various fields. Al-Saleh made the statements while receiving the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Italy, Shaikh Ali bin Khalid Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Shura Chairman valued highly the efforts exerts by the diplomats of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries abroad to protect GCC interests, strengthen diplomatic ties with host countries, and take care of GCC national across the world. He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kuwaiti envoy to Italy for his dedicated efforts which contributed to the success of the "This Is Bahrain" festival, which was held in Rome in November last year, citing his support to the participants. Shaikh Ali appreciated the Shura Chairman's keenness to enhance joint GCC action, especially in the legislative field
