Bahrain to host youth volunteerism development forum

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Al Mabarrah Al Khalifia Foundation (MKF) has affirmed that the preparations were underway to convene the Forum on the Impact of Leadership and Volunteerism in Youth Development under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister. The forum will provide a platform for all concerned to converge to discuss a host of themes including leadership, pioneering, volunteerism, oration and negotiations skills in addition to technical workshops and direct interaction, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) was told by Her Highness. Shaikha Zain pointed out that the Foundation will continue to implement its programmes and activities in 2017 and to expand wherever needed with potential increasing of its scholarship grants to Bahraini youth. The Foundation plans to add new universities to its "Raiat" programme for more diversification of study disciplines which benefited 200 students since the Foundation was launched in 2011 to enable youths to meet the requirements of the labour market in line with Bahrain Vision2030.
