Oil Minister receives SCE membership shield

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received today Board Chairman of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Dr. Jamil Al-Baqawi who was accompanied by the council’s Secretary General Dr. Hussain Al Qadhi. The council’s Board Chairman presented the Oil Minister with the membership shield of the council in recognition of his role and efforts to upgrade the oil and gas sector. The Oil Minister thanked him for the honour, wishing the Saudi Council of Engineers more success in serving the national economy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Both sides also discussed boosting cooperation between the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) and SCE. The meeting was attended by NOGA Secretary General Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sheryan and Ali Abdul Jabbar Al Sawad.
