Vessel captain course inaugurated

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): Coast Guard Commander, Brigadier Alaa Siyadi, inaugurated the 10th vessel captain course at the Maritime Training Wing, with the participation of 12 GCC commissioned officers and personnel from the Coast Guard, Special Security Force and National Guard. He welcomed the GCC guests, highlighting that the course was part of annual training plan of the coast guard to enhance skills of personnel. The four-month course is divided to two phases that cover collision prevention law, maps , navigation devices, maritime emergencies, first aid and practical vessel driving training.
