Vientiane Vice Mayor receives ADB delegation
(KPL) Vice Mayor of Vientiane Bounchanh Sinthavong on Wednesday at his office received Representative of Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Laos Mr Sakaguchi.
The representative visited Laos to assess the implementation of the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction (JFPR) Project worth USD1 million carried out in the period 2004-2007.
He also evaluated recycling activities and the provision of financial assistance for the poor families.
On the occasion, Mr Bounchanh highly valued the visit and working in Laos of Mr. Sakaguchi.
He said that the visit would enhance and expand the relations between the two countries as well as between Laos and ADB, which has been one of its key development partners for many years.
