Zinon Food To Penetarte China And South Africa

ALOR SETAR (Kedah, Malaysia), Jan 23 (Bernama) -- Zinon Food Industri Sdn Bhd aims to penetrate the markets of China and South Africa in an effort to reach its target profit of US$1.57 million (RM7 million) in 2017. Director Zinol A'bidin Daud said the Malaysian company hoped to cater for the high demand for bird's nest juice in China and instant noodles in South Africa which would increase profits by 20 per cent from US$901,367 (RM4 million) achieved in 2016. "We are still discussing with importers from China and South Africa," he told reporters here Monday after a factory visit by the Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Ahmad Maslan. Zinon Food Industri, operational since 2007, manufactures a variety of instant food, spices and flavourings marketed under the 'Iman' and 'Hilal' brands, sold at TESCO, Mydin and Giant outlets, nationwide. The factory, located in Jalan Hutan Kampung, produces some 24,000 cups of instant noodles, per month, which are exported to Saudi Arabia, Brunei and Singapore. --BERNAMA
