HM the King invited for World Summit of Governments

Manama, Jan. 25 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received an invitation from President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend the fifth edition of the World Summit of Governments to be held next month in Dubai. HM the King today at Al-Safriya Palace received UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdulridha Khori, who handed over the invitation. HM the King expressed appreciation of the UAE President's noble gesture, and commended the bilateral relations bonding the two countries highlighted by cooperation in various areas in the interest of the two countries and their people. HM the King hailed the UAE's key international standing and the achievements brought in various fields thanks to the wise leadership of UAE President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. HM the King wished the UAE leadership success in hosting the event in the interest of the governments of the world to attain the aspirations of their people.
