Speaker condemns heinous terrorist act

Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of 1st Lieutenant Hisham Hassan Mohammed Al-Hammadi who was killed in a heinous act of terror. He expressed condolences to all the affiliates of the Interior Ministry, praying to the Almighty to rest the deceased's soul in eternal peace and give his bereaved family fortitude and solace. The Speaker strongly condemned the terrorist crime, backing the right of the security agencies to take all necessary legal action so as to maintain national security and stability and protect the lives of citizens and residents. He expressed full confidence in the ability of highly-professional security agencies and investigators to uncover the circumstances of the terrorist act and track down the perpetrators. The Speaker voiced the Parliament's rejection of all terror attempts to terrorise innocent people and target human lives. "This heinous and cowardly terrorist act will not deter the state of institutions and law from pursuing its national drive to consolidate the pillars of security and stability and protect lives and properties ", he said
