GCC Secretary General condemns terror act in Bahrain

Riyadh, Jan. 30 (BNA): GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani strongly condemned the terror act which claimed the life of a Bahraini officer, describing it as a heinous terror crime that contravenes all humanitarian and moral values and principles. The GCC Secretary General underlined solidarity of the GCC countries with Bahrain in all procedures taken to maintain its security, stability and the safety of its people. He also voiced confidence in the ability of the Bahraini security bodies to uncover the circumstances surrounding the terrorist crime and the parties behind it as well as arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice. He also extended condolences to the family of the fallen serviceman, the Interior Minister, the Interior Ministry personnel and the Bahraini people.
