Doha Insurance Discloses its Financial Statement for The Year 2016

Doha, January 31 (QNA) - Doha Insurance disclosed its financial statements for the period ended on 31/12/2016. The Company's results revealed net profit of QR72.2 million for the fiscal year 2016, compared to net profit of QR 111 million for fiscal year 2015, declining by 35%. Earnings per share amounted to QR 1.44 for the period ended 31/12/2016, compared to QR 2.22 for the period ended 31/12/2015, a press statement on Qatar Stock Exchange website said. The Board of Directors has also decided to propose a cash dividend of QR 0.60 (Sixty Dirham) per share, the equivalent of 6% of paid up capital, to the General Assembly at the next Annual Meeting.
