Bahrain welcomes Morocco rejoining African Union

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): Bahrain has welcomed the Kingdom of Morocco's official rejoining to the African Union, regarding it a wise step, of conscious policy, and in the interest of the African continent, which will promote cooperation between Morocco and members of the African Union and strengthen joint African action. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that while it praises the important regional and international role of Morocco, it affirms that Morocco rejoining the African Union will contribute to the continued leading efforts by Morocco to support the development and consolidation of peace and security to strengthen the African Union's capacity in confronting all challenges and achieving the aspirations of its peoples for further progress and prosperity.
