Bahrain condemns attack on Louvre Museum

Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned "the terrorist attack which targeted a police patrol at the entrance of the Louvre Museum in Paris, resulting in the injury of a French soldier. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the French Republic and vows support for the measures it takes to underpin security and peace across the French territories to protect the citizens and residents," a statement by the Foreign Ministry said. "It reiterates the steady stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain which avows that terrorism has no homeland or religion and has no aim but to kill the innocent, terrorize secure people and shake the security and stability of the world countries. This necessitates concerted regional and international efforts to eliminate violence, extremism and terrorism and preserve human values and principles to ensure constructive cooperation and peaceful co-existence among countries and peoples of the world."
