Royal Leadership congratulated by Information Minister

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Institute for Political Development, Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi, has extended utmost congratulations to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and people of Bahrain marking the 49th Anniversary of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Al-Romaihi hailed the BDF's national efforts in maintaining the homeland's security, stability and defending its sovereignty and unmissable development achievements. He paid tribute to BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and personnel's allegiance to the leadership and resolve to defend the homeland's security and stability against external interference. He took pride in the BDF's high-level of combat readiness accomplished through the march of military development carried out in accordance with sound planning, training and rehabilitation programmes and the provision of advanced military equipment and weapons. He lauded the BDF, Security and National Guard forces' partnership that represents an invincible shield to protect the national unity, security and sustainable development and economic march, as well as promoting the youth movement and Bahrain's reputation as an oasis of peace and prosperity. He underlined commitment of national media channels to perform their duties as partners in social peace, defend the Gulf national security and to play its role shoulder to shoulder with the BDF within the Arab and Islamic coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in fighting the extremist terrorist groups to restore legitimacy in Yemen.
