Turkish President visits Al-Fateh Centre, Beit Al-Quran

Manama, Feb. 13(BNA): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Al-Fateh Islamic Centre, where he performed Al-Asr prayer. The Turkish leader was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, head of the convoy of honour. The Turkish leader was received by Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa, Undersecretary Dr. Fareed Ibrahim Al-Meftah and Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa. President Erdogan was briefed about different parts of the Islamic milestone, including the Quran Memorization Centre and the library. He then visited Beit Al-Quran, in the company of the Foreign Minister, where he was received by Dr. Abdullatif Kanoo and the Capital Governor. He was briefed by Dr. Kanoo about the Quran milestone's mission and vocation. President Erdogan lauded the Al-Fateh Islamic Centre and Beit Al-Quran.
