UAE ambassador praises Bahrain's achievements, reforms

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdul Ridha Abdulla Al-Khoury, has expressed pride in the achievements and reforms attained by Bahrain in all fields thanks to the modernisation approach consolidated by the National Action Charter. The ambassador extended sincere congratulations to the Bahraini leadership and people marking the 16th anniversary of the National Action Charter, stressing that the annual occasion strengthens the Bahraini citizens' rallying behind the leadership towards achieving a brighter future for the kingdom. He explained that since the seventh chapter of the National Action Charter stipulates that "the state of Bahrain is proud of its Arab identity" and that "its people are part of the Arab nation and its territory is part and parcel of the Arab world," Bahrain enjoys distinguished fraternal relations with the United Arab Emirates. Ambassador Al-Khoury wished the kingdom further progress, prosperity and ever-lasting security and stability, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
