Bahrain to host World Productivity Congress

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): Under the patronage of Deputy Premier, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the kingdom will host the 18th World Productivity Congress themed "New Roads to Innovation and Higher Productivity." Co-organised by the Bahrain Society for Training and Development and Jafcon Consultants for Productivity Improvement, in partnership with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and the UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), the event is the first of its kind to be held in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and will be held on April 2-4 at the Gulf Convention Centre. The event will attract about 600 delegates from around 72 countries. They include a distinguished group of leading businessmen, industrialists, scholars, politicians, administrators and productivity experts from around the globe. it provides a venue for experts to review the latest successful experiences on ways to use resources and increase productivity. The event will focus on three main themes, namely "Financial Stability and Economic Growth through Higher Productivity", "Social Enhancement, Productivity Drivers and Indicators" and "Education Reforms and Innovation Ecosystem".
