Fruitful outcome of HRH Crown Prince’s visit to Saudi Arabia highlighted

Riyadh, Feb. 16 (BNA): Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Shaikh Hmoud bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has commended the positive outcome of the visit paid to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He described the talks held with His Royal Highness Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as successful, adding that they took place in a constructive and positive atmosphere, characterized by affability, understanding, and identical views vis-à-vis all the discussed developments and issues. "Bilateral relations are strong, steady, advanced and historically deep-rooted and being developed and reinforced by the two wise governments, under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, king Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud," he noted. He added that the Bahraini and Saudi sides affirmed their satisfaction over their ongoing joint efforts in confronting terrorism and extremism, a phenomenon that is alien to all faiths, norms, doctrines and cultures and has nothing to do with Islam and its tolerance. "The two sides vowed to continue their efforts to preserve the security and stability of the region and the prosperous life of its people as well as to go ahead confronting terrorism of all forms and drying out its ideological and material resources to rid the region of its evil," said the Bahraini Ambassador. Shaikh Hmoud said talks covered bilateral ties and how to reinforce them politically and economically as well as how to boost bilateral investment to avail both countries, pointing out that both sides are looking forward to consolidate reciprocal investment and private sectors and to diversify their sources of income. " The two sides uttered delight with the momentum of bilateral cooperation and expressed readiness to push it forward to broader horizons through further facilitation of passengers move on both ways of King Fahd Causeway by applying the one-crossing point system to save them time." He said the two parties were happy with the progress and growth made by the GCC in all fields and vowed to further consolidate gains for more noble goals. He added that the Bahraini side appreciated the support it receives from the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spearheaded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and supported by HRH the Crown Prince, saying that Bahrain, leadership, government and people, highly appreciate the Saudi stances. The Bahrain Ambassador was optimistic that there will be more hope and more gains in the days to come for all the countries and peoples of the region to avail from.
