HRH Crown Prince's successful visit to Saudi Arabia hailed

Riyadh, Feb. 16 (BNA): Saudi Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh, has confirmed to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the visit of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, at the invitation of the Saudi government, highlights the longstanding relations binding the two kingdoms.
He stressed the visit aimed to consolidate relations, cooperation and integration in various fields under the impact of regional and international developments.
He said the talks held with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister also Minister of Interior, and with HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, have embodied the depth of the bilateral relations promoted by the two monarchs' interest in further boosting them to bolster cooperation and integration at various levels.
He added the talks also focused on facilitating customs and passport procedures, especially at King Fahad Causeway and finalizing procedures for the implementation of the single border-crossing point, facilitating truck border-crossing and establishing an investment office on the Bahraini side to pave the way for a broader era of cooperation, as well as the application of travelers' smart gate system.
He pointed out the talks also covered security cooperation to counter terrorism and support regional and international efforts.
The visit was successful in all aspects and has gained great significance in terms of the two countries' strive to strengthen cooperation and integration in various areas, the ambassador added.
