MAHB Managing Director Wins Leadership Award in London

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd's (MAHB) Managing Director, Badlisham Ghazali, has been awarded the Leadership Excellence in Airport Management Award for his leadership and drive in ensuring sustainable growth of MAHB. In a statement Tuesday, MAHB said, Badlisham’s initiative of enhancing the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and establishing it as a preferred ASEAN hub, developing KLIA Aeropolis and strengthening international presence won him the recognition. Badlisham received the award at 7th Middle East Business Leadership Awards (MEBLA) in London last Saturday. "This award is actually a recognition for our collective effort of more than 10,000 employees who strive to make MAHB’s mission and vision a reality," Badlisham said. Also present at the event held at Intercontinental London Park Lane were Malaysia's High Commissioner to United Kingdom & Northern Ireland, Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi, member of UK Parliament, Stephen Timms, and other dignitaries.
