HRH Premier receives HRH Crown Prince

Manama, Feb. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at the Gudaibiya Palace today. The two leaders lauded the noble humanitarian goals of the UNESCO-King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education, given its key role in encouraging international initiatives aimed at upgrading the quality of education and promoting its goals, congratulating the laureates of the eight edition of the prestigious prize. HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince also reviewed the latest regional and global developments, stressing that any rapprochement of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries with other countries and economic blocks will benefit the region and its economic development. They affirmed that exchanged visits between the kingdom's senior officials and their counterparts in other countries will pave the way for a more effective cooperation and strengthen ability to deal with the global economic developments.
