Information minister's national efforts lauded

Manama, Feb. 27 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi today received First Deputy Speaker Ali Abdullah Al-Aradi and stressed keenness on boosting cooperation with the legislative branch to promote the national development and civilizational gains under the reform march led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The minister highlighted commitment to provide media coverage for parliamentary sessions in the interest of the Government's Action Programme and development projects in conformity with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. Al-Aradi praised the developments witnessed by media sector, pointing out the ministry's loyal efforts in bolstering national identity and disseminating values of tolerance and moderation among the Bahraini society, as well as accentuating Bahrain's political, economic and legal achievements in regional and international forums. He commended the ministry's adoption of a goal-oriented media discourse with the participation of talented and fresh national aptitudes enjoying objectivity and responsibility. The minister welcomed enhancing cooperation in the interest of citizens and development of national media to contribute to raising citizens' awareness and highlighting Bahrain's international standing.
