Bahrain chairs GCC Cultural Committee meeting

Manama, Feb. 27 (BNA): A delegation from Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities led by Culture and Arts Director Shaikha Hala bin Mohammed Al Khalifa participated in the 46th GCC Cultural Committee meeting held on February 26-27, 2017, in Riyadh. Shaikh Hala bin Mohammed Al Khalifa chaired the meeting and discussed the main decisions reached during the last culture ministers' meeting, as well as Bahrain's proposal on hosting the first GCC theatre festival and GCC music festival during current year. A number of proposals on producing a work of art to focus on enhancing the Gulf national identity and reflects the long-standing relations bonding the GCC countries.
