Bahrain, Qatar ties hailed

Manama, Feb. 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister arrived in Doha today on an official to the State of Qatar at the invitation of the Father Amir HH Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to discuss the progressive bilateral ties and means of bolstering them in various fields. HRH the Prime Minister was received upon arrival at the Hamad International Airport by Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani Qatar's Prime Minister and Interior Minister and a number of senior officials. HRH the Prime Minister was accorded the official reception protocol whereas the music troupe played the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Anthem and the State of Qatar's National Anthem. HRH the Prime Minister inspected the Honour Guard lineup that saluted His Royal Highness. HRH the Prime Minister upon arrival in the sisterly State of Qatar issued the following statement: (We are delighted to conduct this official visit to the sisterly State of Qatar at the invitation of our brother the Father Amir His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and meeting with our brother the Amir of Qatar HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the source of our pride is the firm brotherly bilateral relationships based on our shared historic, societal and geographical assets consolidated through the GCC, Arabian and Islamic bonds. As we set out on this official visit we see it as opportunity to view the landmarks of development and renaissance in the State of Qatar which began during the era of the late Grandfather Amir HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani and was continued by the Father Amir HH Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani who made Qatar the global attention focal hub and the development and building which continued in the era of the Amir of Qatar HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani who made the State of Qatar the symbol of advancement and development among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the region. We see that direct communication among the leaders and officials in the GCC countries has become an imperative necessity as the region has become surrounded with risky political, economic and security challenges and as such communication boosts the common stances, unites the views vis-à-vis these challenges more effectively. Today we need to intensify these meetings and to increase the coordination between us to preserve the security, stability and development of this vital part of the world and to conceded on common views and directions that ensure the sustainability of development, boosting the bilateral and multi-lateral integration in both the Arabian Gulf and the pan-Arab arenas. We in the GCC countries we have the solid foundation for joint Gulf economic, security and developmental cooperation that helps in mustering the efforts to cope with current and latest regional and international developments and to harness our available resources as much as possible in order to serve Gulf progress and to achieve prosperity, reinforce stability of the GCC countries and peoples.)
