HRH Crown Prince and HH Kuwaiti PM highlight longstanding bilateral ties at dinner banquet

Manama, Feb. 28(BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening attended a dinner banquet hosted in his honour by His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, at Abraj Al Kuwait.
His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, which underpin growing levels of cooperation across key sectors, and contribute directly to the development of both countries.
The Crown Prince emphasised the strength of the bilateral relationship, noting the firm support that both countries extend to each other at various times. His Royal Highness went on to underscore the commitment and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Subah, Amir of Kuwait to further developing relations between both countries, building on the resilient foundations established by their forefathers.
The dinner banquet was attended by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King Hamad for Charity and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Ministers, senior officials and His Royal Highness’ accompanying delegation.
His Royal Highness and the Prime Minister of Kuwait highlighted the positive impact that strong levels of bilateral coordination and cooperation have had on both countries, and its facilitation of a resilient platform to further increase cooperation in pursuit of shared prosperity and growth.
The Crown Prince and the Prime Minster noted the successful partnerships between both countries across wide-ranging sectors, reaffirming the importance of building on existing partnerships, particularly in economic and development-related areas.
