HRH Premier holds talks with Qatari counterpart

Doha, Mar. 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at his residence at the Al-Marmar Palace here today, the Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Shaikh Abdulla bin Nasser Al Thani. They reviewed the existing fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to bolster bilateral cooperation in the economic and development fields. They also discussed stepping up security cooperation and ways to coordinate anti-terror efforts. HRH Premier and his Qatari counterpart affirmed the solid ties bonding the two brotherly countries at the political, economic and social levels, noting that the two countries have set exemplary effective bilateral cooperation based on long-standing ties. They underscored their shared keenness on enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two countries to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. HRH the Prime Minister expressed delight at visiting the State of Qatar and holding fruitful talks with its leadership. He expressed thanks and appreciation to his Qatari counterpart for the gracious welcome and hospitality accorded to him, which, he said, embodies the depth of the fraternal bilateral ties. He lauded the advanced level of the Bahraini-Qatari relations reflecting the depth of the long-standing ties and shared desire to bolster joint cooperation for the best interests of the two countries and their peoples. Qatari Premier and Interior Minister welcomed HRH the Prime Minister's visit, and highlighted its importance in pushing bilateral cooperation forward. He also lauded the crucial role played by HRH Premier in boosting the joint fraternal ties and broadening bilateral cooperation. He also commended the Premier's efforts to enhance joint GCC action for the best interests of GCC countries and their brotherly peoples.
