Cuban television channel to make documentary about Azerbaijan

Baku, March 2, AZERTAC Cuban Havana television channel has revealed plans to make a documentary about Azerbaijan. The 10-part series called “Azerbaijan – a land of fire” will mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba. The first part of the series will highlight Azerbaijan`s culture, including Novruz holiday, national cuisine and ancient traditions. The channel underlined the international importance of the holiday, saying UN General Assembly established International Novruz Day in 2010. The holiday was included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
