Shaikha Hessa honours "Roshena" team

Manama, Mar. 5 (BNA): Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, INJAZ Bahrain’s Executive Director, visited Bahrain’s winning student team "Roshena" at Ibn Khuldoon National School to honour them for their outstanding achievements in the INJAZ Al-Arab Young Entrepreneurs Competition 2016. The team had won two prizes, High School Company of Year and Remarkable Customer Service, at the regional competition held during November 2016. In her speech, Shaikha Hessa expressed her gratitude to the support of the volunteering team, school coordinator and management as well as the school administration for its cooperation with INJAZ in achieving its mission to prepare and inspire youths to succeed in the global economy. She also emphasized in her speech that the goal of INJAZ Bahrain is the preparation and positioning of youths as the employees of choice upon graduation. INJAZ aims to ready youths for the workforce and contribute to their community by affording them the opportunities to enhance their talents, skills and abilities through a variety of programs and initiatives. Dr. Kamal Abdel-Nour, Head of Ibn Khuldoon National School, welcomed Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa on behalf of the school board and all its members and thanked Her Highness for the visit and for recognizing the "Roshena" team. Dr. Abdel-Nour praised the significant role of Her Highness as well as the opportunities offered by INJAZ Bahrain, delivering excellence and encouraging creativity of the next generation with the spirit of competition. Additionally, Dr. Abdel-Nour thanked other key players for their support of INJAZ Bahrain’s initiatives including Batelco, represented by Shaikh Bader Al Khalifa, Batelco’s Senior Manager of Human Resources and Relations of Trade Unions as well as the Ministry of Education, for their support of Ibn Khuldoon National School’s activities and programs, and INJAZ Bahrain’s coordinators, volunteers and employees for their dedicated efforts with assisting the students fulfill their ambitions. Esteemed guests in attendance included Ms. Fareeda Almoayyed Chairwoman of IKNS, Mr. Foaud Naqi, IKNS Vice Chairman and Ms. Sara Buallai representative from the Ministry of Education who congratulated the winning team for their efforts.
