Qatar Stock Index Drops 205.65 Points

Doha, March 07 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 205.65 points (-1.94%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,416.89 points Monday. The volume of shares traded increased to 14,402,295 from 12,179,283 on Monday and the value of shares also added QR524,718,421.86 from QR456,625,829.79 on Monday. From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 10 saw trading today. From these 9 gained and 31 companies closed lower today. Indices of all seven sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index dropped -1.60 to 17,161.33 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index down -0.69% to 4,071.33 points and QSE All Share Index decreased -1.46% to 2,918.27 points. (QNA)
