Award granted to RCO hailed

Manama, Mar. 8 (BNA): Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the efforts of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, for her outstanding contribution to the institutional momentum to empower Arab women. He also lauded her support to Bahraini women to boost their role in comprehensive development, voicing appreciation of RCO's winning of HRH Princess Sabeeka's Award for Productive Families 2017. Shaikh Nasser was speaking as he received today RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Sayed who presented him with the award which was granted to RCO for its support to productive families. He stressed the organisation's pledge to continue backing productive families and boosting their role in the national economy, in line with the directives of HM the King, the RCO Honorary President. He also hailed the support of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, commending the efforts of the organisation's Board of Trustees, executive and staff in bringing about the achievement.
