Premier's support to medical sector hailed

Manama, Mar. 17 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks and appreciation from the Chairman of the Third Bahrain International Conference of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Dr. Tariq Saeed. Tariq Saeed extended sincere thanks to HRH the Prime Minister for supporting the kingdom’s hosting of the Third Bahrain International Conference of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, the 13th Conference of the Pan Arab Association of Burns and Plastic Surgery and the Ninth Conference of the GCC Association of Plastic Surgeons, held in the kingdom from March 9 to 12, which, he said, testifies to the Premier’s constant support to the medical sector. HRH Premier’s support and directives have ensured the success of the Third Bahrain International Conference of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in which 99 aesthetic doctors and experts from 32 countries participated, he said. Attended by 350 doctors from Bahrain and abroad, the conference featured 15 plenary sessions in which nine Bahraini research papers were presented, he added. Dr. Tariq Saeed renewed thanks and gratitude to HRH the Premier for creating good conditions for hosting mega medical conferences, which, he affirmed, has placed the kingdom among leading countries in the fields of conferences tourism, as well as Therapeutic tourism.
